A major strength of the STAR process is its rich staffing pattern. Each STAR is led by Barbara Findeisen, M.F.T., or Lynette Danylchuk, Ph.D. Supporting them is a leadership team of licensed therapists who bring a variety of professional knowledge to each participant and in that way assure that participants can take full advantage of their STAR experience. The lay staff brings “real world” practical experience that complements the participant’s ability to apply STAR techniques on their return home. All staff members have attended STAR as a participant and consequently have a deep experiential understanding of the STAR process. Additionally, all staff members have been through the STAR Training Program in order to assure quality leadership and guidance for participants.
