Pocket Ranch Recipes: Desserts
Pocket
Ranch Recipes: Desserts is a collection of many of
the favorite cookie and dessert recipes served at Pocket Ranch during
1986 to 1996. This 50-page book contains 45 recipes and is illustrated
with 24 color photographs. It ranges from very simple to more complicated
pieces, all very delicious. Some of the most popular recipes at the
ranch such as chocolate chip cookies, brownies, almond-polenta pound
cake, old-fashioned crumb cake, fresh fruit tart, and frozen fudge
cake are all included in this book.
The proceeds of Pocket Ranch Recipes: Desserts will go to the STAR Foundation,
a California not-for-profit corporation. This collection was compiled
by Diana Barrett, who is currently the executive director of the STAR
Foundation. During the years at Pocket Ranch, Diana was responsible for
the creation of all the menus that nurtured guests and staff at the ranch.
